ZZHK Gallery is pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition “The Little Painting”, a group exhibition of selected small format artworks, from oil on canvas to assemblages, ink on silk, and various graphics works.
 
Larger artworks are often more eye-catching, but this does not always mean better. We rush by hardly glancing at the detail of the art, however smaller works (“little gems” they are called), have to be viewed "closer up" which forces the viewer to observe closer. Small pieces share with the viewer more intimate moments.
 
Slow down, come closer, enjoy the little painting! The exhibition runs though 14 Jun, 2014 at ZZHK Gallery. On Saturdays (10, 17 & 24 May) from 3-7pm, wine and snacks will be served. Come and spend a cozy late afternoon with us.
